October 22, 2017: UKPNP (United Kashmir People’s National Party) recorded a protest against missing person in Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir. Rally was organized by UKPNP Bagh Azad Kashmir which passes through Haidri Chowk and they demanded to from Government of Pakistan and all operating secret agencies in the area that all enforced disappeared persons to be released immediately. During the Rally, participants were also holding the banners for immediate recovery of enforced disappeared persons from Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir and chanted slogans “We want Independence from India”, “We want Independence from Pakistan”
Rally was organized by Kashmir’s well known nationalist political party “United Kashmir People’s National Party” (UKPNP), it’s student wing, party members, and organizers. People from civil society also participated in this awareness rally and recorded protest. This protest was led by UKPNP General Secretary Mr. Sardar Ishtiaq Hussain, Syed Amjad Gardezi, Syed Tahir Shah Gardezi, and others
